Three Generations of Monarchs

This piece was inspired by the Monarch butterfly, who sometimes migrates as far as 2000 miles! Quite often, it's the second or even third generation that completes this awesome journey! The butterfly wings are made from fabric that has been hand-painted.

This is my very favorite box...of course, I kept this one! The box is painted with acrylic paint and the sleeping baby troll and leaves are made from polymer clay. Isn't he a sweetie?!
